![]() Rating: - Get this book...This is one of the best Thanksgiving books I have read. I got it for my 5 year old daughter to learn from (we homeschool) and then I ended up reading it to my entire family (my parents, grandparents, brothers and sister in laws, niece) after we ate our Thanksgiving dinner this year. Everyone was fascinated by some of the things we learned from it that we had not known before and it was nice for all of us to sit around the table after we ate and enjoy it together. Rating: - Great Book For Introducing the Basics of ThanksgivingI bought this book primarily to read to my 5 1/2 y.o. It was often over his head but there was enough interesting information that he learned a good bit about life in Plymouth. The book doesn't entirely shy away from the Christian aspects of Pilgrim life (and there were some faintly unacceptable overtones on a page or two). My son was usually able to tell his father something he learned from the book and I even learned something myself! Overall it is a good book and I'm glad I bought it.
