Not only are the illustrations large and friendly (the giant looks more stupid than scary), but the "pages" are tough, easy-to-clean boards, ensuring a long-lasting favorite without torn pages. First I read it to him and played the puppets, but now he is 7 and a good reader himself. He loves reading this book to us and use the puppets. He even changes the voices for the characters. We have lots of fun with it. It makes reading fun!!!! I hope my review could help.
