![]() Rating: - 18 months and loves it!I'm a fifth grade teacher with an 18 month old son who has been showing a real interest in the moon when we can see it in the sky during the day. I have been trying to find some good, informational, short books about the moon that also has great pictures. This hit the spot perfectly! He loves seeing and pointing to the moon in its' different stages and he thinks the astronauts standing in front of the big moon is a great picture too! Rating: - Great Book for Beginning Readers! My ESOL students need accessible books to read on Science and Social Studies. Rookie Readers provide sophisticated information at an easy reading level. The books help my students access information when it seems impossible in their textbooks. This book helps students with lack of prior education to begin to think in a scientific manner about space and the moon.
