Understanding the motivation behind an individuals desire to learn has an impact on the overall effectiveness of the training involved. Great book, a must read for individuals in the field of adult education. Four and a half stars should be highlighted. Rating:  - BUT monkey!An excellent book which includes factual unbiased ways by which to motivate adults to learn! Definately required reading material to be a more affective instructor! BUT the author digresses at the end of the last chapter into spouting his opinions about how the motivation should be used to institute social change and environmental policy.
