There are so many fun, simple ideas and activities to encourage literacy in this book, and the majority of them work outside of a group setting. Rating: - Ready, Set, Read!I LOVE this book! This is by far one of the most useful literacy books for kindergarten that I have ever read! It is packed with fabulous activities! I would highly recommend it to all kindergarten teachers!!! Rating: - AWESOME TOOL FOR EMERGENT READERSI have just started using this book, but it offers a great variety of tools and ideas young children need to prepare for reading.
